Applicants who participated in the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) recruitment exercise are anxiously awaiting the next phase of the process after the official portal was reopened with updated statistics.

Recall that since the online examination was concluded, there had been no clear update on the progression of the exercise, while the recruitment portal was at different times inaccessible. During the waiting period, several rumours circulated online, many of which were later dismissed as false.

However, with the portal now active again, fresh details have emerged showing a breakdown of applications and examination performance.

According to figures displayed on the portal, a total of 1,120,491 applications were marked as completed, while 432,935 were listed as incomplete. Another 360,923 applications were disqualified for various reasons.

The score distribution released by the board showed:

0 – 40: 221,996 candidates
41 – 60: 229,155 candidates
61 – 80: 278,543 candidates
81 – 90: 108,142 candidates
91 – 100: 34,555 candidates
