CJ Of Federal High Court approves new Judge postings nationwide
The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court of Nigeria, Justice John Tsoho, has approved a new posting schedule for recently appointed judges following recommendations of the National Judicial Council (NJC).
In a statement issued in Abuja on Friday by the Director of Information of the court, Dr Catherine-Oby Christopher, the judiciary confirmed that all affected judges are to assume duty at their respective duty stations on May 13.
“Following the recent appointment of 14 new judges and the reposting of three existing judges of the Federal High Court, the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice John Tsoho, has approved and released a new posting schedule for judges of the Court to various judicial divisions across the country,” the statement read.
Under the new deployment, Justice Hassan Dikko has been assigned to the Gusau Division in Zamfara State, while Justices Salim Olasupo Ibrahim and Onah Chigozie Sergius will serve at the Abuja Division.
Justice Sulaiman Amida Hassan was posted to the Osogbo Division in Osun State.
Others include Justice Muhammad Saidu, who will serve at the Minna Division in Niger State; Justice Igboko Conchita, Akure Division in Ondo State; Justice Onuegbu Angela, Yenagoa Division in Bayelsa State; and Justice Galumje Edingah, Abakaliki Division in Ebonyi State.
Justice Ibrahim Eneabo has been assigned to Gombe Division, Justice Abubakar Usman to Ado-Ekiti Division in Ekiti State, Justice Salihu Yunusa to Damaturu Division in Yobe State, and Justice Ikpeme Bassey to Uyo Division in Akwa Ibom State.
Also included are Justice Shehu Adamu, posted to Maiduguri Division in Borno State; Justice Mohammed Buba, Dutse Division in Jigawa State; and Justice Binjin-Eigegbe Nendelmum Judith, Lokoja Division in Kogi State.
Justice Usoro Uduak and Justice Nwoye Osinachi Donatus will serve at the Lagos Division.
The statement added that the postings take immediate effect.
