As of Thursday, several countries have already secured their spots in the 48-team 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The host nations Canada, Mexico, and the United States, automatically qualify.
From Africa, the teams that have confirmed their places are Algeria, Cape Verde, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Senegal, South Africa, and Tunisia.
