Electoral reform: Atiku, Obi, David Mark lead opposition coalition meeting in Abuja

Leaders of opposition political parties are set to address a joint press conference in Abuja under the theme, “Urgent Call to Save Nigeria’s Democracy.”

The briefing is taking place at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja, where prominent political figures have gathered to outline their positions on key national issues.

Among those already present are leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), including former Senate President David Mark, former Osun State governor Rauf Aregbesola, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi and former Anambra State governor Peter Obi.

The National Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Ahmed Ajuji, is also in attendance, alongside prominent NNPP chieftain Buba Galadima.

The gathering is expected to address pressing political developments and concerns about Nigeria’s democratic process ahead of future elections.
