Former Lawmaker Zakari emerges Kogi ADC chairman
A former member of the House of Representatives, Tom Zakari, has been elected as the Chairman of the Kogi State chapter of the African Democratic Congress.
Zakari emerged during the party’s state congress held on Saturday in Lokoja.
Speaking after his election, he pledged to run the party with transparency, accountability, and fairness, assuring members of inclusive leadership.
He assured members that he would work closely with stakeholders and supporters to advance the party’s agenda across Kogi State.
He emphasised that the ADC is founded on principles of hope, inclusiveness, and progress, adding that members would continue to uphold these values while striving for the development of the state.
Zakari also called on party faithful to remain committed to grassroots mobilization, urging them to organize and energize their base to attract more supporters.
Expressing gratitude to members, he noted that their unwavering support and trust have been instrumental in the party’s current progress.
