Gov Fubara approves appointment of six permanent secretaries in Rivers
Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has approved the appointment of six new Permanent Secretaries into the state’s civil service.
The appointments were announced in a statement released by the Rivers State Head of Service, Dr. Inyingi S. I. Brown.
According to the statement, those appointed are Mr. Freddy Ndigbara, Mrs. Fortune Akpila, Dr. Promise Oguzie, Mrs. Ibisoye Lolomari Nwankwo, Mrs. Ibiyemiebara Joseph Uzoma, and Mrs. Mercy Dagogo Iboroma.
The Head of Service noted that the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries will be sworn in by the governor on Wednesday, today.
“The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are to be seated by 12noon on Wednesday, 29th July, 2026, and will be sworn in by His Excellency, the Governor of Rivers State, in the State Executive Council Chambers”, the statement added.
