Gov Lawal meets PDP stakeholders in Zamfara
Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has begun a series of strategic engagements with stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by his media aide, Sulaiman Idris, the governor said the meetings are aimed at reviewing the party’s performance and strengthening its presence across Zamfara.
Idris explained that the engagements are meant to promote strategy development while also creating an avenue to discuss important political and governance-related issues affecting the state.
According to the statement, the first meeting was held on Tuesday at the Rescue Hall, Government House, Gusau, and was attended by PDP stakeholders from Gummi and Maru local government areas.
“The meetings offer an opportunity for the governor to engage directly with party stakeholders on pressing political matters affecting both the PDP and the state,” Idris said.
He added that similar engagements will be extended to stakeholders from all 14 local government areas in the coming weeks, allowing Governor Lawal to hear concerns, receive advice, and gain critical feedback from communities across Zamfara.
Idris emphasized that such stakeholder interactions highlight the PDP’s continued strength and influence throughout the state.
