Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has officially rejoined the All Progressives Congress, APC, days after dumping the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP.
The governor announced his return barely three days after resigning from the NNPP, where he blamed long-running internal crises and legal battles for weakening the party’s unity across the country.
Very Nigerian had earlier reported that Yusuf was expected to rejoin the APC on Monday, following his resignation from the NNPP last Friday.
Earlier, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Jibril Ismail Falgore, his Deputy, Muhammad Butu- Butu, the Majority Leader, Lawan Hussain, and 19 other lawmakers officially defected from the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
