The Federal High Court in Ibadan has invalidated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention held in Ibadan, Oyo State, on November 15, 2025.
Ruling on Friday, the court barred members of the Tanimu Turaki-led National Working Committee (NWC) from presenting themselves as the party’s national officers.
The court affirmed that the Caretaker Committee, headed by Mohammed Abdulrahman and Senator Samuel Anyanwu, remains the only recognised NWC of the PDP until a valid National Convention is conducted.
The court ruling is the latest twist in the protracted crisis rocking the PDP.
