Several members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Katsina State have defected to the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
A chieftain of the ADC, Austin Okai, made this known in a post on his Facebook page on Monday.
According to Okai, the defection cut across different levels of the PDP’s structure in the state, from polling units to the state level.
He wrote: “Katsina PDP collapsed structures from polling units, ward, LGA and State to ADC Coalition.”
Very Nigerian reports that there has been a massive defection of politicians to ADC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
About one hundred thousand supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lega Local Government Area of Kebbi State recently left the party for ADC.
