Zamfara PDP inaugurates caretaker committee

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has set up a Caretaker Committee to manage the affairs of the party in Zamfara State.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Monday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Ini Ememobong.
According to the statement, the committee has been given the mandate to run the party in the state in line with Section 21(2)(a-b) of the PDP Constitution.
It will operate for a period not exceeding 90 days or until a new state executive is elected, whichever comes first.
The Caretaker Committee has Hassan Muhammad Daudawa as Chairman and Muhammad Danbuba as Secretary.
Other members include Shehu S. Fulani, Rabiu Illele Bakura, Musa Mallaha, Sani Lasisi Kaura and Hajiya Hauwa Kulu Makkah.
