Nigeria’s Super Falcons set for friendly clash against Tanzania
Nigeria’s Super Falcons will take on Tanzania in an international friendly on Thursday as they continue preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The match will be played at the Lenoria Sports Complex in Casablanca and is scheduled to kick off at 6:00 p.m. local time.
The friendly fixture is expected to provide the Nigerian women’s national team with a valuable opportunity to assess their form and fine-tune tactics ahead of the 2026 WAFCON tournament.
Justine Madugu’s side were earlier scheduled to take on the Black Queen of Ghana in a friendly last Saturday, but it was called off d due to unforseen circumstances.
They will hit Rabat for the competition this weekend.
The Super Falcons will face the Scorchers of Malawi in their opening fixture next week Tuesday.
