The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, on Tuesday paid a visit to former Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.
The meeting took place at Malami’s residence in Abuja, just hours after he regained freedom from the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).
Although details of the meeting cannot be ascertained at the moment, it may not be unconnected to Malami’s cases with DSS and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Malami was reportedly released on bail, on Monday.
The viral video clip was captured as the former Minister of Justice reunited with his family after some months in detention.
