#OsunDecides2026: ‘I will win’ – Adeleke sends strong message to AMBO, APC after casting his vote
Osun State Governor and Accord Party governorship candidate, Ademola Adeleke, has expressed confidence that the ongoing governorship election in the state will be peaceful and that he will emerge victorious.
Adeleke spoke shortly after casting his ballot at Sagba Agbogunde Ward 2, Unit 9, in Ede North Local Government Area.
The governor arrived at the polling unit at about 8:32 a.m., accompanied by a large number of supporters.
He was accredited by the Presiding Officer at about 8:35 a.m. before proceeding to cast his ballot.
Speaking after voting, Adeleke expressed confidence in his chances of winning the election.
He urged voters across the state to turn out in large numbers, exercise their franchise and protect their votes throughout the electoral process.
According to him, the election provides the people of Osun with an opportunity to decide who will govern the state for the next four years.
Adeleke also appealed to voters to remain peaceful and law-abiding during voting and the subsequent collation of results.
He urged voters to remain at their polling units and monitor the process in line with the guidelines of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The governor expressed optimism that the election would be peaceful, credible and reflect the will of the people.
