PDP BoT to meet in Abuja March 11

The Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is set to hold a meeting in Abuja on Wednesday, following the court decision that nullified the party’s 2025 national convention.

The session, scheduled for March 11, 2026, follows the Court of Appeal’s confirmation of an earlier ruling that invalidated the PDP National Convention held in Ibadan on November 15 and 16, 2025.

A notice obtained by our correspondent, signed by BoT Chairman Mao Ohuabunwa, stated that the meeting will begin at 2 pm in Abuja.

“This serves to formally invite all members of the Board of Trustees of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party, to a meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 2 pm. Venue is 1, Sabo Ago Street, LifeCamp, Abuja,” the notice stated.

Ohuabunwa said the meeting is being convened by the BoT and is recognised by the party’s caretaker leadership.

“Note that this is the only BoT recognised as constituted by the Abdulrahman/Anyanwu-led National Caretaker Working Committee pursuant to the Federal High Court decision and ratified by the Court of Appeal in Abuja,” he said.

He also cautioned members against responding to any other invitations.

“Kindly ignore any other notice purporting to call for a meeting of the BoT,” the notice read.

The BoT chairman added that attendance would be strictly limited to properly notified board members.

He said only duly notified BoT members would be accredited for the meeting and advised non-members to stay away from the venue.
