Senate appoints 12-member committee to oversee Electoral Amendment Act

The Senate has appointed 12 of its members to collaborate with the House of Representatives on the proposed Electoral Amendment Act, which has been the subject of public debate in recent weeks.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio announced the committee members on Tuesday during an emergency plenary session.
Notable appointees include Senators Orji Uzor Kalu and Tahir Mungono
