Wike, Anyanwu, Fayose, others remain expelled, PDP warn Nigerians against dealing with them
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has issued a public disclaimer announcing the expulsion of 11 individuals from the party, stating that they no longer hold membership or any official position within the organisation.
In a statement signed by the National Chairman, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki (SAN), the PDP said the affected persons were formally expelled during the party’s 2025 Elective National Convention held on 15–16 November in Ibadan, Oyo State, in line with provisions of the PDP Constitution (as amended).
Those expelled include former Rivers State Governor Ezenwo Wike, former Imo PDP governorship candidate Samuel Anyanwu, former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, former National Organising Secretary Umar Bature, former National Legal Adviser Kamaldeen Ajibade, and former lawmaker Mao Ohuabunwa.
Others are George Turnah, Dan Orbih, Austin Nwachukwu, Mon’d Abdulrahman and Abraham Amah.
The party warned the public to desist from engaging with the expelled members in any political capacity, stressing that any interactions or representations made by them are not authorised by the PDP.
According to the statement, “members of the public dealing with these individuals are doing so at their own peril.”
