FULL LIST: Tinubu’s 65 ambassadors and their countries of posting
Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday approved the posting of 65 ambassadors to different countries and international missions.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
According to the statement, the list includes 31 career diplomats and 34 non-career ambassadors whose nominations were earlier confirmed by the Nigerian Senate in December.
Among the notable appointments, former senator Ita Enang was posted to South Africa, while former Abia State governor Okezie Ikpeazu will serve as Nigeria’s envoy to Spain.
Also on the list, former presidential aide Reno Omokri has been assigned to Mexico, while former Chief of Defence Intelligence Lateef Kayode Are will head Nigeria’s mission to the United States.
