BREAKING: Many trapped as three-storey building collapses in Lagos (Photos)

A three-storey building has collapsed in the Alakija area of Lagos, leaving several people trapped beneath the rubble.
According to an eyewitness, the incident occurred at about 11:40 a.m. on Thursday.
The exact number of victims trapped in the collapsed structure could not be immediately confirmed as of the time of filing this report.
Rescue operators and emergency responders were yet to arrive at the scene when the incident was reported, while concerned residents and passersby gathered around the area.
The cause of the building collapse has not yet been determined.

More details are expected as rescue efforts begin and authorities assess the situation.
