Step-by-step guide to registering for the NDE RHEI Phase 3 programme

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has commenced registration for the 2026 Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) Phase 3, a Federal Government programme aimed at equipping unemployed Nigerians with practical vocational, technical and entrepreneurial skills.

The initiative is part of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and is designed to reduce youth unemployment, promote self-reliance and alleviate poverty by providing participants with market-driven skills for sustainable livelihoods.

About the Programme

The Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) Phase 3 is a nationwide training programme targeting unemployed and unskilled Nigerians.

Participants will receive vocational, technical and entrepreneurial training to enhance their employability or enable them to establish their own businesses.

How to Apply

Interested applicants should follow these steps:

  1. Visit the NDE Registration Portal (https://nderegistrationportal.ng/) .
  2. Click on “Sign Up” to create an account.
  3. Register using your required personal information.
  4. Log in with your registered email address and password.
  5. Complete the online application form by providing all required details.
  6. Upload a recent passport photograph (maximum file size: 500KB).
  7. Carefully review all the information entered.
  8. Click “Submit” and await further communication from the National Directorate of Employment.

Required Information

Applicants will be required to provide:

  • National Identification Number (NIN).
  • Bank Verification Number (BVN).
  • Personal information.
  • Contact details.
  • Other information requested on the application portal.

Required Document

Applicants must upload:

  • A recent passport photograph (maximum size: 500KB).

Important Guidelines

Applicants are advised to note the following:

  • Ensure your NIN and BVN belong to you and are entered correctly.
  • Submit only one application, as multiple applications may result in disqualification.
  • Registration is completely free.
  • Do not pay anyone to register or secure placement under the programme.
  • Beware of fraudsters claiming to offer assistance for a fee.

Eligible applicants are encouraged to complete their registration early and ensure that all information provided is accurate before submitting their applications.
