Job Description

The Operations Audit Officer will be responsible for reviewing business operations and systems to ensure compliance with established policies and regulations while helping protect the company’s assets.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Conduct regular reviews of business operations in line with the annual audit plan and make appropriate recommendations.
• Follow up on the implementation of approved remedial actions and escalate outstanding issues when necessary.

The Technical Audit Officer will help protect IBEDC against losses and inefficiencies by conducting audits of existing and newly developed power distribution infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly monitor the network and review power distribution infrastructure in line with the annual audit plan.
• Assist in defining, drafting and reviewing internal audit policies and procedures.
• Conduct timely inspections of inventories and completed technical projects.
• Review technical safety control measures against applicable standards and recommend improvements where inefficiencies are identified.
• Follow up on the implementation of approved recommendations from previous audit reports and assess their impact on operations.

Minimum Requirements

• At least four years of experience in audit processes, including a minimum of two years in a supervisory role.
