The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded more than 80.23 per cent of the results from Saturday’s Osun State governorship election to its Result Viewing Portal (IReV).

The development followed the conclusion of voting across the state’s 30 local government areas, where voters turned out to choose the next governor of Osun State.

The election featured incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party, All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Bola Oyebamiji, and African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate Najeem Salaam among the major contenders.

In the latest development, Tribune Online’s check at the time of filing this report revealed that 80.23 per cent of the results had been uploaded.

This figure represents results from 3,019 polling units out of the 3,763 units across the state.
