FIFA U-17 WWC: Quarter-final fixtures confirmed after round of 16
The quarter-final fixtures for the ongoing FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup have been confirmed following the conclusion of the Round of 16 matches in Morocco on Thursday.
Nigeria’s U-17 women’s team, the Flamingos, secured their place in the last eight with a 2-1 victory over Mexico in their Round of 16 encounter on Thursday night.
The victory keeps Nigeria’s hopes of winning the tournament alive as they prepare for the quarter-final stage.
The quarter-final matches are scheduled for Sunday, November 1, with the first two fixtures kicking off at 3:00 p.m. and the remaining two at 6:00 p.m. local time in Morocco.
China defeated France, while Japan won 3-1 against Kenya to qualify for the quarter-final stage.
The quarter-final stage will commence on Sunday with Ghana taking on Japan.
Nigeria will tackle Venezuela, while Brazil will take on China.

Ghana vs Japan – 4 pm.
North Korea vs United States – 4 pm.
Brazil vs China – 7 pm.
Nigeria vs Venezuela – 7 pm.
