“Messi better than me? I don’t agree,” says Ronaldo
AL Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has dismissed claims that his longtime rival, Lionel Messi, is the greatest footballer of all time.
In a recent interview with British broadcaster Piers Morgan, the 40-year-old Portuguese star said he does not agree with those who believe Messi is better than him.
“Messi better than me? I don’t agree with that opinion,” Ronaldo stated. “I don’t want to be humble.”
For nearly two decades, fans and analysts have debated who truly deserves the title of the greatest of all time (GOAT) between the two football legends.
Both players have achieved remarkable success with their clubs and national teams, dominating world football for years.
