Fresh blow for PDP as three Senators defect to APC

Three members of the Senate on Wednesday announced their defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The lawmakers are Amos Yohanna, who represents Adamawa North; Aminu Iyal Abbas, representing Adamawa Central; and Ikra Aliyu Bilbis, the senator for Zamfara North.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio read their separate letters of defection during plenary.
