Lionel Messi once again proved his class on the big stage as he inspired Inter Miami to their first-ever MLS Cup triumph on Saturday, steering them to a 3-1 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The Argentine maestro was at the heart of Miami’s attacking brilliance, delivering two assists and playing a key role in the build-up to another goal as the home fans erupted inside Chase Stadium.
Messi’s influence set the tone for a dominant display, with supporters celebrating wildly as Inter Miami sealed a historic night in their young club history.
