BREAKING: Inflation rate eases again to 14.45% in November — NBS
Nigeria’s headline inflation rate declined to 14.45 percent in November 2025, according to the latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) report released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Monday.
The figure represents a further moderation in price pressures when compared with the 16.05 percent recorded in October 2025.
The November data marks the eighth consecutive month of decline in the country’s inflation rate in 2025, bringing it below President Bola Tinubu’s 15 percent inflation target.
The NBS noted that the continued slowdown reflects easing pressures across key components of the consumer price index, although it said a detailed breakdown of the contributing factors would be provided in the full report.
More details are expected as the Bureau releases additional data on food inflation, core inflation, and month-on-month price movements.
