BREAKING: Security operatives raid Malami’s residence hours after Atiku’s visit
Security operatives have raided the residence of former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.
Malami, who had been in detention over alleged money laundering, was recently granted bail.
Sources indicated that prominent figures within the African Democratic Congress, including former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, visited him at his residence shortly after his release.
However, hours after Atiku departed, security operatives reportedly stormed the premises in what appeared to be a follow-up action.
In a video circulating online, Malami, still dressed in the same attire he wore while receiving Atiku, was heard questioning the operatives.
“Where’s the court order you have to mark my property? Are you trying to embarrass me or what?” he asked.
Further details surrounding the raid remain unclear as of the time of filing this report.
