Ekiti 2026: ADC secures first polling unit, beats APC

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has recorded its first polling unit victory in the ongoing governorship election in Ekiti State.
The party emerged victorious at Ajagbala Hall Polling Unit in Okeruku Ward 02, located in Ikere Local Government Area.
According to the result sheet sighted by our correspondent, the ADC polled 39 votes to defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC), which secured 29 votes at the polling unit.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, came third in the polling unit with 17 votes.
The ADC candidate Dare Bejide had raised an alarm, alleging violence against his supporters.
