Gunmen kill four, injure two in Niger
The Niger State Police Command has confirmed the killing of four people by unidentified armed men in Godoro and Angwan-Bisala communities in Katako District, Rafi Local Government Area.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Wasiu Abiodun, confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), saying the attack occurred on Wednesday, September 23.
Abiodun also disclosed that two other people sustained injuries during the attack and were taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
According to him, armed men attacked the two communities at about 1:30am, killing four people and leaving two others seriously injured.
He added that the police had visited the scene of the attacks and an investigation into the incident had commenced. (NAN)
