ISWAP publishes graphic images of slain Brigadier General Musa Uba in Arabic newspaper
The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) has released graphic images of Brigadier General Musa Uba, who was killed in Borno state, in its Arabic-language newspaper, Al-Naba.
General Uba was reportedly killed on November 18 following an ambush on a convoy of soldiers and Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) operatives along Damboa Road in Wajiroko, Borno, as they were transporting military equipment.
The latest edition of Al-Naba, Issue 522, published on Thursday, shows censored images of Uba’s body, including a bullet wound on his leg and blood near his head.
The newspaper also shared screenshots of the general’s WhatsApp.

The eight-page issue highlights recent violent attacks by ISWAP and other Islamic State affiliates globally.
In addition, ISWAP claimed responsibility for an attack on the Damboa Brigade Headquarters and circulated images of a beheading in Gorobatcha, Borno.
