JUST-IN: Regina Daniel’s brother, Sammy West, regains freedom after days in custody
Sammy West, brother of actress iqq, has been released on bail after spending four days in police custody amid the ongoing marital tensions between Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The release follows several days of public scrutiny surrounding the celebrity couple, whose relationship has recently been clouded by mutual accusations.
Regina Daniels had previously accused her husband of domestic abuse and other forms of mistreatment. In response, Senator Nwoko alleged that the actress’s family and friends were undermining her rehabilitation efforts.
In the heat of the clash, Nwoko reportedly ordered the arrest of Sammy West over alleged offences including criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, theft, and cyberbullying.
After spending four days in custody, fresh reports confirmed that Sammy has finally regained his freedom on bail.
His elder brother took to Instagram to share the news, expressing gratitude to everyone who stood by the family and spoke out in his defence during the ordeal.
