9 months agoon
President Bola Tinubu has officially sworn in General Christopher Musa as Nigeria’s new Minister of Defence, marking a major step in the government’s efforts to strengthen the country’s security system.
Gen. Musa takes up the role at a very challenging period when cases of mass abductions, bandit attacks and other security threats have become more frequent across different parts of the country.
Musa’s swearing-in ceremony took place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday, a day after a five-hour grilling by the Senate, leading to his confirmation.
