Dr. Sanusi Bala Turaki (Sarkin Dawakin Maituta) has called for sustained peace, unity and development in Zamfara State as he joined residents of Gusau to celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir festivities.

The Zamfara Central senatorial candidate spent the Sallah celebration with community members, traditional leaders, party supporters and residents in his hometown, Gusau, where he emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence and collective efforts toward the progress of the state.

Speaking during the celebration, Maituta urged citizens to continue praying for lasting peace across Zamfara and Nigeria, noting that security and stability remain critical to the state’s growth and prosperity.

“This sacred season reminds us of the values of sacrifice, compassion, unity and service to humanity. I urge all our people to continue praying for peace, security and progress in Zamfara State and across Nigeria,” he said.

He also encouraged residents to remain hopeful and committed to promoting harmony among communities, regardless of political, ethnic or religious differences.

Maituta expressed appreciation to the people of Zamfara Central for their continued support and goodwill, pledging to remain committed to initiatives that would improve the welfare of the people and advance development across the senatorial district.

The Sallah gathering attracted a large turnout of residents, political associates, youth groups and community leaders who joined him in marking the occasion.
