‘Nobody can stop Tinubu in 2027, I’m the light, I will lead the fight’ – Adeleke
Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has declared his support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid, saying nobody can stop the President in the 2027 presidential election.
“I am the light, I will lead the fight,” Adeleke reportedly said while speaking at the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council in Abuja.
Adeleke’s declaration comes despite his membership of the Accord Party, an opposition party outside the APC. He was named the Osun State coordinator for Tinubu’s 2027 presidential campaign, placing him in a campaign structure working to secure the President’s re-election.
The development highlights the political alliances emerging ahead of the 2027 general election, with some politicians supporting Tinubu’s second-term bid despite belonging to parties other than the APC.
Adeleke’s statement reflects his own position on the presidential race and should not be taken as evidence that all voters in Osun State or across Nigeria share the same view.
