NYSC announces release of call up letters for Batch B stream II in Niger, Sokoto
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released the deployment details for prospective corps members posted to Niger and Sokoto States under the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II.
The NYSC announced this on its official X handle on Sunday, stating that prospective corps members deployed to the two states can now print their call-up letters.
The call-up letter contains important details about the corps members’ deployment and orientation camp arrangements.
The announcement read, “2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Deployment has been released for Niger and Sokoto States.
“PCMs posted to these states have been enabled to print their Call-Up Letters.”
The development comes after the NYSC extended the commencement date of the orientation course in the two states due to ongoing renovation works at the orientation camps.
Following the extension, the Corps announced that the orientation course for the states would commence on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
The cut-off and swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Friday, August 14, while the closing ceremony is fixed for Tuesday, September 1.
The corps had attributed the extension to ongoing renovation works at the orientation camps by the respective state governments.
It also advised prospective corps members posted to the two states to plan their journeys accordingly and avoid travelling at night.
