A popular supporter and campaigner of Peter Obi has reportedly announced his exit from the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Obidient Movement amid an apparent disagreement involving the group’s internal affairs.
In a now-viral video shared on X, the campaigner was heard addressing “Mama P”, saying:
“Mama P, I don leave Peter Obi for you. Shey na you be Peter Obi Mama? I don leave NDC for, carry am chop.”
The development comes amid ongoing disagreements and tensions within the political movement ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The latest outburst has triggered reactions online, with supporters debating the growing internal issues surrounding the proposed Obi-Kwankwaso political alliance and the wider opposition movement.
It remains unclear whether the campaigner’s declaration represents a permanent departure from Peter Obi’s political camp or was made in reaction to the immediate dispute.
