Reality show BBNaija announces return for season 11
Organisers of Big Brother Naija have officially teased the return of the show for its 11th season, with auditions expected to open in the coming weeks.
The announcement was made via the show’s official X account on Tuesday, accompanied by a short teaser video and the message, “Biggie is calling. Are you ready to answer?” The post, which also read “It’s back. Auditions coming soon!”, has already sparked excitement among fans of the popular reality series.
The upcoming edition follows the conclusion of Season 10, which premiered on July 26, 2025, and featured 29 housemates competing for a grand prize of ₦150 million.
Season 10 introduced several notable changes to the format, including a revised Head of House structure where leadership could shift between Sunday and Monday challenges. Housemates who finished last in the challenge were automatically nominated for possible eviction.
The season also delivered new twists such as the “Bag of Big Twists,” the “red telephone” that issued surprise instructions from Biggie, and the “Influential Player of the Week” feature aimed at intensifying strategy within the house.
At the end of the season, Imisi Ayanwale emerged winner with 42.8 percent of the votes, beating finalists including Dede, Koyin, Sultana, Kola, Jason Jae, Mensan, Isabella, and Kaybobo.
Her victory added to the list of past winners such as Mercy Eke, Laycon, Whitemoney, Phyna, and Ilebaye.
With Season 11 on the horizon, anticipation is building as fans await further details on audition dates, eligibility criteria, and potential new twists for the next instalment.
