Ronaldo, Girlfriend meets Trump at White House, shares heartfelt message online
Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez had met with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House after a high-profile dinner held in honour of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Ronaldo wrote on his Facebook handle:
“Thank you Mr. President for your invitation and for the warm welcome you and the First Lady gave me and my future wife, @georginagio. Each of us has something meaningful to give, and I stand ready to do my part as we inspire new generations to build a future defined by courage, responsibility and lasting peace.”

Earlier:
Ronaldo was one of several global personalities invited to the White House dinner, which also had billionaire Elon Musk and FIFA President Gianni Infantino in attendance.
The Al Nassr forward arrived shortly before Trump and the Saudi crown prince, taking a prominent seat near the head of the table.
Trump revealed that his son Barron is a “big fan” of Ronaldo and had the opportunity to meet him during the visit, joking that the introduction earned him “more respect” from his son.
The 40-year-old striker, whose contract with Al Nassr expires this summer, is one of many veteran players drawn to Saudi Arabia’s ambitious football project.
Ronaldo has confirmed that the upcoming 2026 World Cup, for which Portugal recently qualified, will “definitely” be his last.
