President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Birnin Kebbi, the capital of Kebbi State, where he commissioned the newly built state secretariat.
The president also inaugurated an ultra-modern motor park in Birnin Kebbi as part of activities lined up for his visit to the state.
Tinubu is expected at the fishing arena to officially declare open the international fishing festival.
Top government officials, including governors from Sokoto and other states, are in attendance and will accompany the president to the fishing arena for the formal kick-off of the event.
Meanwhile, the fishing arena is full to the brim with anxious spectators and foreign journalists from China, India and other West African press.
