Tinubu’s leadership ‘Christlike’, says Reno Omokri after Ambassadorial nomination

Reno Omokri has expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following his nomination as a non-career ambassador, describing the President as a leader who embodies forgiveness, patriotism and Christlike qualities.

In a lengthy post shared on his official Facebook page, the former presidential aide thanked God for the recognition and pledged to serve Nigeria with loyalty and dedication.

Omokri offered glowing praise to President Tinubu, saying the nomination had deepened his understanding of patriotism.

“I thank God Almighty for this nomination and look forward to serving my fatherland and humanity. I am particularly grateful to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his visionary and exemplary leadership,” he wrote.

According to him, President Tinubu had “taught him the meaning of forgiveness” and demonstrated Christlike virtues worthy of national emulation.

“He is the right man, at the right time, for the right job, and deserves the right hand of fellowship from all Nigerians,” Omokri added.

The nominee also extended appreciation to his parents, Esijolomi and Omerewumi, whom he credited for shaping his character.

He reserved special praise for National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, calling him a man in whom “all the goodness on Earth” could be found.

Omokri further thanked his wife, Hana, whom he described as his “pillar,” noting that she stood firmly by him during challenging periods when, according to him, “enemies of the President made me their foe because of my unrelenting loyalty.”

He concluded his message with a prayer for national unity:
“May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!”

The Senate is expected to commence screening of ambassadorial nominees in the coming days.

The President has taught me the meaning of forgiveness and has helped me better understand what patriotism entails. In short, Christlikeness is demonstrated in him. He is the right man, at the right time, for the right job, and deserves the right hand of fellowship from all Nigerians.

May God bless you, Mr President, and may Nigeria prosper as an indivisible entity with peace, prosperity, and progress under your able leadership.

I thank my parents, Esijolomi and Omerewumi, who moulded me, as a piece of clay they received from God, into what I am today.

May God bless Malam Nuhu Ribadu. Although I have said this publicly before, let me repeat it today. If it were possible for all the goodness on Earth to be domiciled in a single human being, that person would be Malam.

Finally, I thank my wife, Hana, my yene konjoo, who has been a pillar by my side and helped settle my mind for the three years that enemies of the President made me their foe because of my unalloyed support for the President and unrelenting loyalty to Nigeria.
