UCL: Bayern edge Real Madrid 4-3 to book semi-final spot
Bayern Munich produced a stunning late comeback to defeat Real Madrid 4-3 on Wednesday night, sealing a 6-4 aggregate victory and booking a semi-final clash with Paris Saint-Germain.
The match was full of tension and twists, with Madrid taking the lead three different times during the game in Germany.
However, Bayern refused to give up, showing resilience in front of their home fans.
With the game heading towards a dramatic finish, Luis Díaz stepped up in the 89th minute, scoring a deflected goal that brought Bayern level and shifted the momentum.
Moments later, deep into stoppage time, Michael Olise sealed the victory with a decisive strike, sending the home crowd into wild celebration and confirming Bayern’s place in the last four.
Madrid’s situation became even more difficult after Eduardo Camavinga was sent off late in the game, leaving the visitors a man down at a crucial moment.
In the end, Bayern’s persistence paid off as they overturned Madrid’s resistance in dramatic fashion, setting up what promises to be an exciting semi-final encounter against PSG.
