What I saw after a lady undressed herself shocked me — Adeboye
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has recounted a remarkable encounter in which he said a woman was miraculously healed after prayers.
Adeboye shared the testimony while ministering at the RCCG annual gathering, describing the incident as a vivid demonstration of divine intervention and the power of prayer.
According to the cleric, the event occurred during a visit to a city where he lodged in a hotel. He said the woman approached him, greeted him, and insisted on accompanying him to his hotel room, despite his initial reluctance.
“I told her, ‘Please don’t put me into trouble, I can pray for you here,’ but she insisted on following me,” Adeboye recalled.
He said the woman later explained the reason for her persistence after they got to the room.
“When she lifted her dress, what I saw shocked me. Her body was covered with scars,” the cleric said.
Adeboye explained that he immediately began to pray for her, noting that he did not restrain himself during the prayer session.
“I started praying, and before I knew it, all the scars disappeared,” he said.
The RCCG leader described the experience as a powerful testimony of faith, stressing that it further strengthened his belief in prayer as a potent instrument for healing and transformation.
