Senator Adams Oshiomhole has criticised former Vice President Atiku Abubakar over his alleged residence in Dubai and questioned Peter Obi’s promise to serve only one term if elected president.

Oshiomhole made the remarks on Monday at the APC presidential campaign rally in Calabar, Cross River State, while addressing supporters ahead of the 2027 general election.

Responding to Atiku’s reported position that Nigerians should not be told to go and pray amid the country’s challenges, Oshiomhole said the former vice president was not consistently present in Nigeria.

“All right, but Atiku lives in Dubai. He only comes home on the eve of every election, and he will lose in January. By February, Atiku will be back in Dubai,” he said.

The senator also questioned Obi’s record as governor of Anambra State, arguing that the former governor’s eight-year tenure should be considered before Nigerians accept his promise to fix the country within four years.

“If Peter Obi couldn’t fix Anambra in eight years, how can he look you koro koro in the eyes and say he only needs four years?” Oshiomhole asked.

The remarks formed part of the APC campaign’s criticism of opposition figures ahead of the 2027 presidential election. Oshiomhole’s statements about Atiku’s residence and Obi’s performance remain his political claims and assessments.
