2027: Yahaya Bello pledges full support for Tinubu’s re-election bid

Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has declared strong support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu, describing the move as a personal mission.

Bello made this known when he received members of the pro-Tinubu group, Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) Movement, at his residence in Abuja.

He reaffirmed his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that the party gave him his first major political opportunity. According to him, the platform paved the way for his election and re-election as governor of Kogi State.

Bello also pointed out that under the APC, Kogi State has continued to produce elected officials since 2016, including the current governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo.

Explaining the group’s mandate, RTIFN leaders said the movement was established to mobilise citizens, educate grassroots communities on government policies, promote the Renewed Hope agenda, counter misinformation, and strengthen support for the President’s programmes ahead of the next general elections.

National Coordinator of the movement, Ambassador Ahmed Bala, commended Bello for his contributions to the party and national development, describing him as a dependable pillar in strengthening the APC’s structure in the North Central region.

Bello was subsequently decorated as North Central Patron to coordinate mobilisation efforts.

Other RTIFN leaders present included National Secretary Amb. Felix Arome; National Deputy Director of Contact and Mobilisation, Hajiya Aishat Oyiza Omade; National Publicity Secretary, Musa Abdulrahaman; and Rt. Hon. David Idris Zakariya, member representing Idah Federal Constituency and Kogi Project Coordinator, alongside other national and state executives of the movement.
