2Baba, Edo Lawmaker Natasha Osawaru welcome baby boy
Veteran Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Face or 2Baba, and Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.
Speculation about the baby’s arrival grew earlier on Friday when Osawaru was seen at a hospital, leading many to believe she was in labour.
Hours later, the lawmaker confirmed the news in a short message on her official Facebook page, saying the couple had been “blessed with a baby boy,” a post that immediately attracted warm congratulatory messages across social media.
The baby marks another chapter in the growing public story of their relationship. 2Baba and Osawaru formalised their union earlier this year after the singer’s separation from Annie Idibia in January.
Their relationship quickly became a topic of public interest, beginning with the Valentine’s Eve proposal and continuing with family visits and traditional rites.
In July, the couple held a private traditional wedding ceremony in Abuja, attended only by close family members.
