Viral video shows VDM, Mr Jollof exchanging blows aboard flight
A video currently trending on social media shows Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), and Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi, popularly called Mr Jollof, engaged in a physical fight aboard an airplane, with other passengers trying to intervene.
The footage captures the two men grappling in the aisle as fellow travellers attempt to separate them. Reports indicate that the fight began before the plane took off.
In the video, a person filming asks, “Who started it?” and someone off-camera responds, “It was Mr Jollof.” Other passengers can be heard pleading with the men to stop.
As of now, no airline, aviation authority, or government body has issued an official statement on the incident. Neither VDM nor Mr Jollof has publicly commented on what happened.
The cause of the fight remains unknown, and it is unclear whether it stemmed from a disagreement, a misunderstanding, or another issue. Passengers’ reactions in the video show that tensions escalated rapidly.
