KolaDaisi University, Ibadan, has announced vacancies for nine positions across its engineering, administration, ICT and security departments.

The private university, founded by Chief Kola Daisi, CON, is recruiting qualified candidates for positions ranging from Senior Engineer and Principal Engineer to Assistant Registrar, System Analyst and Chief Security Officer.

The appointments are expected to commence in the 2026/2027 academic session and will initially be subject to a two-year probationary period, after which successful appointees may be confirmed in line with the university’s conditions of service.

Requirements for the Vacancies

1. Senior Engineer

Applicants must possess:

• A degree in a relevant field with at least Second Class Lower Division.
• Six years of post-qualification cognate experience.
• Membership of relevant professional bodies such as NSE or COREN.

Salary: KDUNTSS 09.

2. Administrative Officer II

Applicants are required to have:

• A good university degree from a recognised university.
• Computer literacy.
• NYSC Discharge Certificate or Certificate of Exemption.

Salary: KDUNTSS 07.

3. Confidential Secretary II

Applicants must possess:

• Five O’Level credits in WASSCE, NECO or GCE, including English Language.
• ND/Degree in Secretarial Studies or Office Management, with at least Lower Credit.
• Computer literacy.
• NYSC Discharge Certificate or Certificate of Exemption.

Salary: KDUNTSS 06.

4. Confidential Secretary I

Applicants must possess:

• Five O’Level credits in WASSCE, NECO or GCE, including English Language.
• HND/Degree in Secretarial Studies or Office Management.
• At least three years’ cognate experience.
• Computer literacy.
• NYSC Discharge Certificate or Certificate of Exemption.

Salary: KDUNTSS 07.

5. System Analyst I

Applicants must possess:

• HND/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least six years of cognate experience.
• Relevant professional certifications and membership of professional bodies, such as CSS, JavaScript or PCAP.

Salary: KDUNTSS 08.

6. Principal Engineer

Applicants must possess:

• A degree in a relevant field with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
• At least 10 years of post-qualification cognate experience.
• Membership of relevant professional bodies such as NSE or COREN.

Salary: KDUNTSS 11.

7. Chief Security Officer

The position requires a highly experienced security professional.

Applicants must possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree, B.Sc., B.Tech. or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
• At least 19 years of relevant work experience, preferably in tertiary institution security management.
• The applicant must have attained the rank of Colonel in the Nigerian Army or an equivalent rank in another recognised security agency.
• At least 15 years of service within senior military or paramilitary cadres.
• Experience in commanding positions.
• A minimum of Second Class Lower Division for the required bachelor’s degree.

Salary: KDUNTSS 13.

8. System Analyst II

Applicants must possess:

• O’Level credits in WASSCE, NECO or GCE.
• HND/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Cognate experience.

Salary: KDUNTSS 07.

Note: The vacancy information states three years of experience in the job summary but specifies six years of cognate experience under the detailed requirements.

9. Assistant Registrar

Applicants must possess:

• A good university degree from a recognised university.
• At least six years of post-qualification cognate experience.
• A Master’s degree will be an advantage.
• Computer literacy.
• Membership of a registered professional body such as NIM, CIPM or ANUPA.
• NYSC Discharge Certificate or Certificate of Exemption.

Salary: KDUNTSS 09.

General Conditions of Service

The appointments are scheduled to commence in the 2026/2027 academic session.

Successful candidates will initially serve a two-year probationary period, after which appointments may be confirmed until the statutory retirement age.

The university stated that salaries are applicable to those in Federal Universities, while other conditions of service are governed by the approved Conditions of Service of KolaDaisi University, Ibadan.
