Popular skit maker and comedian, Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, widely known as Sabinus, has finally confirmed that his marriage to Ciana Chapman has come to an end.

The disclosure came during a TikTok live session where the comedian addressed weeks of speculation surrounding his marital status.

Sabinus, who traditionally keeps his private life away from the spotlight, stated that the marriage, contracted in 2023, ended peacefully and without rancour.

According to him, both parties have maintained mutual respect, choosing to prioritise the wellbeing of their young daughter above all else.

He debunked swirling rumours alleging domestic violence, infidelity, and other marital crises, insisting that none of such reports emanated from him or his ex-wife.

“I’m not married. My marriage ended peacefully. The mum and I are good. My daughter is okay, and she is doing fine,” he clarified during the live session.

Sabinus opening up marks the first time either party openly acknowledged the separation, following earlier denials and widespread online speculation.

Many fans have since commended the comedian’s calm handling of the issue and his decision to shield his family from media drama.
