Super Falcons arrive Morocco for WAFCON 2026 battle
Defending champions, Nigeria’s Super Falcons, have arrived in Rabat, Morocco, ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), as they prepare to defend their continental crown.
The players arrived in high spirits, radiating confidence and excitement as they stepped off the team bus.

The nine-time African champions had spent the previous 10 days in Casablanca, where they fine-tuned their preparations with intensive training sessions ahead of the tournament.
Justine Madugu’s side defeated the Twiga Stars of Malawi 2-1 in a friendly on Thursday night.
Nigeria will play all three group games in Rabat.
The Super Falcons will begin their title defence against debutants Scorchers of Malawi at the Al Madina Stadium, Rabat on Tuesday.
